1. Early Morning Bird Walk at Menomonee Valley: Tuesday, Jan. 21
The Urban Ecology Center in Menomonee Valley invites you to an early morning bird walk from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 3700 W. Pierce St. You will get to watch birds while enjoying fresh air. There will be binoculars available, too. Registration is required. More information here.
2. Voter Registration Assistance: Wednesday, Jan. 22
VIA Community Development Corp. will be assisting residents with anything election-related from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 3524 W. National Ave. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required. More information here.
3. Ceramic Heart Bowl Class: Wednesday, Jan. 22
Artist Sam Wolf will be teaching a ceramics class from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Mitchell Street Arts, 710 W. Historic Mitchell St. This is a pay-what-you-can class where individuals will learn how to create a heart shaped bowl on a wheel. Registration is required. More information here.
4. January Career Fair: Wednesday, Jan. 22
Milwaukee Public Schools will be hosting a career fair from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 5225 W. Vliet St. There will be application assistance and interviews for positions like teachers, paraprofessionals and more. More information here.
5. Resident Leader Training: Wednesday, Jan. 22
Safe & Sound Inc. facilitators invite you to a resident leader training from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 4422 W. Leon Terrace.
