1. Fathers Legal Rights Night: Tuesday, Feb. 18

Employ Milwaukee invites fathers to receive help with legal rights issues such as driver’s license recovery, child support and more. Assistance will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 2342 N. 27th St. Registration is required. More information here.

2. Early Morning Bird Walk at Menomonee Valley: Tuesday, Feb. 18

The Urban Ecology Center in Menomonee Valley invites you to an early morning bird walk from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3700 W. Pierce St. You will get to watch birds while enjoying fresh air. There will be binoculars available, too. Registration is required. Call (414) 431-2940 for details. More information here.

3.  Food for Thought Poetry Night: Tuesday, Feb. 18

Attend a poetry open mic night on Tuesdays at Mi Casa Su Cafe, 1835 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The next one will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Tickets are $5, and seating is first come, first served. The event will feature open mic, poets, local vendors, soul food and more. Performing artists will need to sign up upon arrival. 4. Classic Movie Club: Wednesday, Feb. 19

Adults are welcome to come enjoy the movie, “A Night in Casablanca,” and participate in a discussion from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Milwaukee Public Library Zablocki Branch, 3501 W. Oklahoma Ave. Feel free to bring a lunch. More information here.

5. Versiti on King: Wednesday, Feb. 19

The Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin will be hosting a health event from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 2153 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. It will feature nurses on a panel discussion and resources in honor of Black History Month. More information here.
