1. Hot Girl Karaoke: Friday, March 7

In honor of Women’s History Month, Social X MKE is inviting women and men ages 21 and older to listen to music by women who are rappers and singers. It will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 7 at Revel Bar, 2246 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. Click here to register.  More information here.

2. Resource and Job Fair: Friday, March 7

A resource and job fair will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7 at Owen’s Place, 4610 W. Fond du Lac Ave. You can receive assistance on your résumé, talk with the Milwaukee Police Academy and more. Individuals from ages 16 to 24 are welcome. More information here.

3. Annual Youth Symposium: Saturday, March 8

The Gamma Pi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. will be hosting a youth symposium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at Andrew S Douglas Middle School, 3620 N. 18th St. The day will feature parents and youths discussing issues such as healthy eating, mental health and more. 4. Free Gardening Workshop: Saturday, March 8

A small-scale urban farm called the Milwaukee Area Renewal Movement Farm invites individuals to its free gardening workshop on seed starting from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at Alverno College Greenhouse, 3400 S. 43rd St. This is open to beginner and experienced gardeners. 5. Community Closet: Saturday, March 8

Muskego Way Forward invites Muskego Way residents to receive free clothing, shoes and accessories from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at 807 S. 14th St. More information here.
