Post From Community wordmark

Built nearly 100 years ago, Milwaukee County’s Public Safety Building – where many courtrooms are located – is crumbling, inefficient, and poses risks to community safety and justice. It must be replaced, and we must re-envision and invest in a design and approach that improves outcomes for all who touch the justice system.

As the County continues to approach planning intentionally, we are holding three listening sessions in March to share updates and seek the community’s valuable input on what necessary improvements to Milwaukee County’s courthouse facilities could look like. Community input will help shape our next steps, including the design process for a new building.

You can RSVP for any of the sessions here.

Additional information about Milwaukee County’s Investing in Justice: Courthouse Complex effort is available online. We encourage you to share any questions or input with our team via email at investinginjustice@milwaukeecountywi.gov.
