A group of over a dozen organizations have put together activities starting on Saturday, June 21, and culminating in a full day of activities on Saturday, June 28, including a community picnic. There’s something for everyone from learning to kayak, educational presentations, volunteer service opportunities, a bird walk, a bike fest, and a photography hike.
The week of events is under the auspices of the Lincoln Creek Greenway Work Group started by Nearby Nature Milwaukee in 2022, to draw attention to the neglect and disparity in green space development along Lincoln Creek.
All events are free and open to the public. Some events request registration. A full list of events and registration links are below and on the Nearby Nature web page, or at this link: www.bit.ly/CreekWeek25
