Milwaukee, WI – This July, Danceworks invites audiences of all ages to experience Rhythmworks—a high-energy, family-friendly performance that celebrates the power of rhythm and the joy of movement. With three chances to catch the show at the Danceworks Studio Theatre, this one-of-a-kind event brings together students from Danceworks’ Summer Performance Workshop Series and special guest artists for a vibrant, unforgettable showcase.

From the intricate footwork of classical North Indian Kathak to the infectious rhythms of Charleston Swing, and the electrifying moves of K-Pop and Hip Hop, Rhythmworks spotlights a dynamic range of rhythm-based dance styles from around the world. With performances in Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and more, this showcase is a joyous celebration of movement, culture, and community.

Danceworks Performance Workshops featured in Rhythmworks are the culmination of Danceworks’ special summer intensive classes designed for dancers who are eager to grow, connect, and shine. These workshops offer a unique opportunity to train with professional choreographers, receive personalized feedback, and perform in a fully produced show. You’ll see dedicated dancers looking to improve their technique, gain valuable stage experience, or dancers rekindling their love for dance after time away. Each performer has worked hard to bring their passion to the stage—come cheer them on and witness their incredible journey.
