I would like to announce for those who aren’t aware, that the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Branch is now open. Please come by and check it out!

We have everything from Story Time for children and adults to a Makers Space to show your creativity.

Activities such as podcasting, 3-D printing, arts and crafts, you name it! So please find time to come by and pay us a visit.

We look forward to seeing you and you providing your in-put on what you desire to see in your community library.

The Milwaukee Public Library’s Martin Luther King Branch officially opened its new, modern facility on September 6, 2025. Located at 2901 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, this new 18,000-square-foot facility replaced the original 1971 Locust Library branch, which was renamed in 1973.
