Northwest Side Community Development Corporation (NWSCDC) is excited to present two opportunities for the community to meet and paint with local artist, Tayla Hart, as she creates a brand new environment & water-themed mural on the shipping container at Green Tech Station (4101 N. 31st Street)!

Join NWSCDC’s spring volunteer workday at Green Tech Station on Saturday, May 9 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at 4101 N. 31st Street.Volunteer activities for this workday event include weeding, trash pick-up, spreading woodchip paths, and other landscaping tasks, plus you’ll have a chance to help Tayla paint the mural! If you plan to participate in the hands-on painting, we recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting paint on! Free lunch will be provided as we wrap up.

Please RSVP for the 5/9 Workday here: https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthwestSideCommunityDevelopmentCorporation/_2026GreenTechStationVolunteerDayRSVPForm.

If you can’t make the May 9th workday, Tayla will also be on site at Green Tech Station (4101 N. 31st St) from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday, May 11 to continue working on the mural. This will be an open house-style event where we welcome the community to meet Tayla and help her paint. Weather permitting – the rain date is 5/14.
