1. Soulful Summer Music Series: Friday, June 12
Bring chairs, a cooler and a blanket to the Gordon Park Friends Stage, 2828 N. Humboldt Blvd., for a free concert in the park with Los Mitoteros, a nine-piece Latin band, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12. More information here.
2. Used Summer Book Sale: Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13
Shop adult, children and young adult books in the Rotary Community Room on the first floor at the Milwaukee Public Library Central Branch’s summer book sale. The sales will take place on Friday, June 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday, June 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 814 W. Wisconsin Avenue. More information here.
3. 2026 Sixteenth Street Bike Day: Saturday, June 13
Head to Kosciuszko Park, 2201 S. 7th St., on Saturday, June 13 for a day of bikes, community, live music and more from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids under 18 can get a free bike, bike lock and helmet while supplies last. More information here.
4. District 3 Merrill Park Block Party: Saturday, June 13
Join the Milwaukee Police Department and Safe & Sound for a block party with free food, games and community on Saturday, June 13 from noon to 3 p.m. at 2900 W. Clybourn St. More information here.
5. Summer Kick Off: Saturday, June 13
Connect with wellness resources, enjoy free food and connect with the community at the Department of Community Wellness and Safety’s Summer Kick Off on Saturday, June 13 from noon to 5 p.m. at Sherman Park, 3000 N. Sherman Blvd. More information here.
