MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Rooted & Rising–Washington Park is inviting the entire Milwaukee community to experience a vibrant summer in Washington Park through four free community events designed to celebrate creativity, build connections, strengthen neighborhoods, and improve quality of life for residents.
As part of the organization’s ongoing Washington Park Quality of Life Plan, these events reflect the community’s vision of creating a neighborhood where families thrive, residents connect, and everyone has access to opportunities that promote health, safety, creativity, homeownership, and lifelong learning.
“We hope the media will help us spread a little joy this summer,” said Adrian Spencer, Deputy Director of Rooted & Rising–Washington Park. “These events invite people of all ages to experience art, culture, nature, education, and community in one of Milwaukee’s most beautiful parks. Everyone is welcome, and every event is free.”
