Taylor Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation invites the Milwaukee community to attend Know Your Body: Breast Self-Awareness & Early Detection Workshop on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, from noon to 2 p.m. at Good Hope Library, 7715 W. Good Hope Road in Milwaukee.
Held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this free community workshop is designed to empower women with practical information about breast health, breast self-awareness, early detection and self-advocacy.
Attendees will learn about breast cancer risk factors, the importance of knowing what is normal for their bodies, mammograms and screening resources, and when to discuss breast health concerns with a healthcare professional.
The workshop will also feature hands-on learning with breast models, a Q&A with healthcare professionals, community networking, refreshments and a complimentary gift for attendees.
The event will be hosted by Tatiana Taylor, MSN, RN, founder and president of Taylor Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation, with guest speaker Alexandra Adams, RN, BSN.
