1. Overdose Awareness Survivors Walk: Monday, Aug. 31

RISE Drug Free MKE is hosting an International Overdose Awareness Day memorial and survivors walk at Veterans Park, 1010 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive, on Monday, Aug. 31 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. More information here.

2. Reiske Park Farmers Market: Tuesday, Sept. 1

Shop for produce and more at the Reiske Park Farmers Market, 1640 S. 24th St., on Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. The new market runs every Tuesday through Sept. 22 and aims to combat Milwaukee’s food deserts. More information here.

3. Yoga at the MYAC: Tuesday, Sept. 1

Join Inner Bloom Yoga for a $12 all-ages class at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, 325 W. Walnut St., on Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 5 to 6 p.m. The class is held weekly and is for all ages. Pre-register here. More information here.

4. Amani Housing & Economic Development Meeting: Wednesday, Sept. 2

The Dominican Center’s monthly Housing & Economic Development Meeting at 2470 W. Locust St. is coming up this Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. More information here.

5. Norwood Neighborhood Game Night: Wednesday, Sept. 2

Head to Sherman Perk Coffee Shop, 4924 W. Roosevelt Drive, on Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for a monthly neighborhood game night. More information here.
