Many parents want stronger local connections for themselves and their children, but finding a natural place to begin can be difficult. I created Play Date as a Milwaukee family community that turns ordinary outings into welcoming, hosted opportunities for children to play and for parents and caregivers to meet one another.

Our next free Play Date: Social is the Seven Bridges Trail Hunt at Grant Park on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Children ages 4 to 10 will search for signs of fall and complete playful connection prompts while adults participate alongside them and meet other local families.

The morning also includes a weather dependent beachside Taste the Colors of Fall demonstration with Monica Hidalgo of Eat Pretty Please.

The event is free and open to the public. Every participating adult and child should RSVP through Eventbrite so we can plan safely.
