4. From The Ground Up: A Conversation with Secretary Lonnie G. Bunch III: Wednesday, Sept. 16

Hear a conversation between 14th Smithsonian Institution Secretary Lonnie G. Bunch III and Bronzeville Center for the Arts Executive Director Ra Joy on building an institution from the ground up at the Milwaukee Art Museum’s Lubar Auditorium, 700 N. Art Museum Drive, on Wednesday, Sept. 16. A reception starts at 5 p.m. and the program begins at 6 p.m. Registration is free but required and seating is limited. More information here.

5. Milwaukee Night Market: College Night: Wednesday, Sept. 16

Shop more than 100 local vendors and enjoy a night of free entertainment at the Milwaukee Night Market’s College Night at North Martin Luther King Drive and West Wisconsin Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 5 to 9 p.m. More information here.
