Join the Halyard Park community on Saturday, September 19, as Milwaukee celebrates the neighborhood’s 50th anniversary.

The celebration will begin with the unveiling of a life-size bronze statue of Beechie Brooks near the fountain at Gaines Triangle at North 6th and North Halyard streets at 11 a.m.

After the unveiling, self-guided tours of the Halyard Park neighborhood will be held, followed by a 50th anniversary celebration at ThriveOn King, 2153 N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, from 3 to 7 p.m.
