Diaper need is a nationwide public health crisis. A staggering 1 in 2 U.S. families experience diaper need, which means parents don’t have enough diapers to keep their child clean, dry and healthy.
The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is giving back to the community by hosting a12-hour diaper drive during National Diaper Need Awareness Week (which runs September 14 – 18) to benefit Milwaukee Diaper Mission.
The diaper drive aims to collect 15,000 products, which would make it the largest donation drive for Milwaukee Diaper Mission this year. They are especially in need of diaper sizes 4, 5, 6, baby wipes, and monetary donations that will be matched.
