Harbor Fest turns 10 this year! There will be many new, fun organizations participating, and even more experiences to enjoy.
Join us this Sunday, Sept. 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., all along Greenfield Avenue east of 1st Street for a free day of family-friendly activities at the Inner Harbor!
Visit https://harbordistrict.org/harbor-fest/ for details on parking, how to buy a limited-run t-shirt by Harbor District artist Bigshot Robot, the schedule of the performers, and all of the amazing partners who help make the festival possible.
Some event highlights:
- Go on a free guided boat tour of the Inner Harbor.
- Step inside an exclusive art installation: a custom-created underwater world in a shipping container that will only be around for Harbor Fest, by Harbor District artist Madison Boeder.
- Watch an Echo the Mermaid show.
- Check out the newest addition to the Milwaukee Riverwalk system.
- Visit our neighbors at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences, and Komatsu Mining as part of Doors Open MKE.
- See a hand-carved traditional pine log dugout canoe, by the Menominee Water Protectors.
- Check out Sturgeon Fest.
- Participate in a scavenger hunt to receive a kids’ goodie bag with prizes & coupons.
- Eat, drink, and enjoy live performances throughout the day.
