Free community event: The Milwaukee Paranormal Conference (MKE Paracon) returns Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Kochanski’s Beer Garden, 1920 S. 37th Street, Milwaukee.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Local historian Allison Jornlin will launch her new book “In the Shadow of City Hall,” a collection of true Milwaukee ghost stories (ISBN 979-8-9960063-3-5; $14.99 paperback) with a talk and book signing.

American Ghost Walks is a longtime sponsor helping keep the conference free.
