Forward Scholars, a Milwaukee-based nonprofit that recruits, trains, and equips community volunteers to provide one-on-one evidence-based tutoring for K-3rd grade students who are not yet reading at grade level, is looking for volunteer tutors.
On average, students who receive tutoring from Forward Scholars grow two grade levels.
Through partnerships with Milwaukee Schools, Forward Scholars helps students develop the literacy skills, confidence, and foundation they need to succeed in school and beyond.
