Worried about lead poisoning? Free lead screenings will be available at several clinics announced by the Milwaukee Health Department.

A free pop-up lead screening clinic will be held at Sixteenth Street’s Chavez Clinic, located at 1032 S Cesar E Chavez Drive, on Wednesday, March 19 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Starting March 20, a free walk-in screening clinic will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Children’s Wisconsin Next Door Clinic, located at 2561 N 29th St.

All of the listed clinics are free, regardless of insurance coverage.
