Let’s reimagine youth justice in Milwaukee
The lesson from the failed Lincoln Hills and Copper Lake youth prisons is clear: We cannot keep sending our young people hundreds of miles away, to be locked up without meeting their most basic treatment and healing needs. We need them in our communities where we can be intentional.
