Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) announced today that it has chosen the Umo Mobility Platform by Cubic Transportation Systems as its new fare collection system following a competitive process that began last May.

Starting Thursday, April 9 and lasting until further notice, a maximum of 10 passengers will be allowed on a bus at any given time. Capping the number of riders on each bus should help occupants avoid close contact with others.

Starting at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2020, MCTS is suspending fare collection and informing riders that they must enter and exit the bus through the rear door only, unless they need assistance with a mobility device or other ADA accommodation.
