The community group Team Dun Did Dat bought food and prepared a free home-cooked dinner for residents in its North Side neighborhood recently. The group of moms is addressing their neighbors’ needs throughout the year.

Youth encourage peers to “kick butts”
Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club members joined anti-smoking groups on March 21 to urge their peers to quit smoking. They hung colorful T-shirts bearing anti-tobacco messages on clotheslines in front of the club at 43rd and Burleigh streets to attract the attention of rush hour commuters.
