This free community event offers an unforgettable afternoon, featuring:
- Powerful Artwork: Experience artwork created by individuals who are currently or were formerly incarcerated, reflecting themes of freedom, confinement, resilience, and self-expression.
- Special Exhibit – I Am Beautiful: Discover the latest volume of I Am Beautiful: A Book of Art, Poems, and Stories by and for Women in Prison, offering a deeply personal and moving glimpse into the lives of incarcerated women.
- Engaging Conversations: Learn about the missions of Dismas Ministry and the Ignatian Volunteer Corps, and how they foster dignity, belonging, and spirituality within marginalized communities.
- Opportunity to Support: Prints of select artwork will be available for purchase, with orders taken on-site.
Guests will enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages while immersing themselves in this thought-provoking and heartwarming experience.
