Workers sought for construction training program
The Milwaukee Christian Center’s “Adult Build” construction training program gives participants a hands-on opportunity to learn the craft of building a house. The program is seeking workers to comprise its latest cohort.
Tenor students study law and get their day in court
Students at Tenor and three other city high schools are learning about the American legal system through a Marquette University Law School program called Street Law. In addition to a full year in the classroom, the teens recently competed in mock trials at the county and federal courthouses.
