4-H holiday sale at Walnut Way raises funds, hones skills
Lindsay Heights teens sold Christmas ornaments and baked goods to benefit the Walnut Way 4-H Club and enhance their skills at the club’s second annual holiday sale.

Jewish volunteers bring Christmas joy to homeless shelter
Volunteers from Tikkun Ha-Ir, a Jewish social justice organization, provide dinner, gifts and a visit from Santa to women and families in an emergency shelter at the Cathedral Center on Christmas Eve.

Construction begins on bridge connecting valley to The Domes
Construction has begun on a bike and pedestrian bridge that will link the Menomonee Valley to Mitchell Park. The project is part of a $26 million initiative to connect surrounding neighborhood residents to jobs and other resources in the valley.
