NNS’s Adam Carr joined WUWM and Joy Powers of “Lake Effect” for the January installment of our monthly “5 Things” feature.

This month’s features include virtual yoga sessions with creative powerhouse Malkia Stampley-Johnson and Milwaukee Turners, Marcus Performing Arts Center’s annual (and virtual) celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the local chapter of the Brown Berets’ call to action on Inauguration Day, the recent “Latino Wisconsin” documentary and our new partnership with the Vel R. Philips Juvenile Justice Center School and its newsletter, “Vel’s Voice.”
