Mayor Tom Barrett, in consultation with members of the Milwaukee Common Council, is asking Milwaukee residents to share their priorities for the expenditure of American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds. The City will receive a total of $394 million in federal assistance to help recover from the pandemic, and public input will help determine how this money is spent.

Community Organizations to receive over $8.1 million from City of Milwaukee’s Community Development Block Grant
On Wednesday, June 20th the Community & Economic Development Committee unanimously approved the 2018 Community Development Block Grant funding allocation plan. The plan will distribute over 8.1 million to organizations all over the city of Milwaukee to support housing, economic development, public services, and infrastructure.
