Seven Milwaukee nonprofits reap $100,000 from Liberty Mutual
Liberty Mutual Insurance has awarded more than $100,000 to seven local nonprofit organizations through its Facebook campaign, “Like My Community.” COA Youth & Family Centers, One Heartland and Running Rebels each won $30,000.

Giant puppets, floats to grace Labor Day parade
Those who missed the giant puppets and other float decorations created for the Summer of Peace All-City People’s Parade will be able to see them at the Labor Day Parade on Sept. 3. The art objects were displayed at City Hall in August.
