HACM annual meeting celebrates 75th anniversary & opening of Victory Manor

HUD lauds HACM’s impact as it closes out Voluntary Compliance Agreement

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) have completed a four-year Voluntary Compliance Agreement (VCA) with recognition that HACM has greatly exceeded goals for the Section 3 program that provides job and contracting opportunities to public housing and other low-income residents.

Financial Education Program Puts Public Housing Residents On The Path To Self-Sufficiency

The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) and the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) hosted a graduation ceremony on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 for 240 low-income individuals who have completed the “Make Your Money Talk” financial education program in 2016. The event was held at St. Marcus Lutheran School, 2215 N. Palmer Street, in Milwaukee.
