Pete’s Pops opens new location on Near West Side

Near West Side residents gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the new Pete’s Pops storefront at 3809 W. Vliet St. last Friday. The store will be open weekends through the end of the season, offering a rotating menu of fruit and cream popsicles.

Teens share their stories through new Mitchell Street Library mural

Activists honor past, imagine future at March on Milwaukee 50th finale
