NNS Weekly Wrap-Up

When I am out in the community, I like to tell folks that the staff of NNS plays on the A Team and the B Team.
The “A” stands for always being there for the communities we serve. And the “B” stands for being there when other media outlets lose interest on topics important to our community.
Last week, Devin Blake updated us on what’s been happening with the Community Collaborative Commission, which has been tasked with helping police meet the requirements of the landmark stop-and-frisk settlement. That settlement originated from a lawsuit filed against the city by Charles Collins and eight other Milwaukee residents who were pulled over by police.
Learn more about the commission below. And get to know Jake Dale, our newest addition and summer intern.
As always, keep proceeding until apprehended!
