At the MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary, individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness can receive food, furniture and clothing at no cost and with no questions asked. Sister MacCanon Brown works to help them understand that they have worth and dignity.

House of Peace mural untouched for 25 years until recent revitalization
George Gist, a longtime artist, came back to Milwaukee to refurbish his 25-year-old mural with former mentee Brad Bernard. They worked for more than two weeks to restore the mural at the House of Peace.
